Plam Springs Eternal

Palm Springs is alive with live entertainment!  From mainstay productions such as the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies downtown to The Annenberg Theater & Art Museum and The McCallum Theater in Palm Desert to private events for some of most glamorous Charity events...the desert is pure magic!

 

There are also a host of local haunts such as Blame it on Midnight and Tropicale boasting baby grand pianos to Dink's which features mostly bands.

Montana Skies

The State of Montana is not only gorgeous (even in the winter) it is also quite cultured and filled with venues and performing arts enthusiasts. To the right is a photo of a frozen upper Missouri River!

Within the State we were able to visit Fort Benton, Billings,Helena and Great Falls.  We also made a stop in Idaho Falls on the way up from Nevada.

The town of Fort Benton was founded before the State entered into the union.  This charming village boasts a luxurious old hotel right on the riverbank called The Grand Union.  Not only does the Grand Union have great rooms, they have an excellent restaurant and a hotel lobby complete with a baby grand piano and grand staircase leading to the rooms of the inn.

We were thrilled to find venues ranging from 80 seats to over 2000 not including larger stadiums that also showcase live music and entertainment.

 

What is truly amazing about Fort Benton, is that even the Agricultural Museum is full of antique pianos each with its own unique story and history related back to the town of Fort Benton.

 

Fringes Off Interstate 15

Dowtown Idaho Falls is an art, wine and food lover's Oasis! The Paramount Theater with 900 seats stands central with galleries and gourmet goodies on either side.


This space is home to several presenters including the symphony and Idaho Falls Arts Council and an art gallery with five exhibits annually.


When you get to Idaho Falls don't miss wine tasting across the street! Try an Idaho wine, you might just be impressed...

Hooray for Hollywood!

Who says cabaret is just for folks over 50?  Many 30 and 40 somethings disagree in Tinseltown!


If you haven't heard about them, where have you been? This intimate 90 seat space on Vermont Street is packed every weekend with some really terrific talent and up and coming stars. We were fortunate enough to catch a killer performance by Jimmy James.

New England Madness

So many pockets of populated areas around Boston. Venues ranging from 600 to over 2000 fulfill the areas need for artistic stimulation. The more intimate of the two major theater venues is the Stoneham Theater.


Backstage is downstairs but there is ample wing space on stage level.


Further north in Worcester Mass. find a true gem in the prestine Hanover Theatre.


The lobby at Hanover is a "must see" on any artists list. We do not show a photo of the lobby and foyer as it would not do justice. Visit Wocester soon!
